Installation

All animals downloaded from us can be added to your game by saving the downloaded (*.ztd) file directly to the following location on your computer.

C:\....\ZooTycoon\Updates\

The kind folks at Microsoft have allowed for all updates to the game including animals and zoo objects, to be easily added by saving the appropriate files to this folder. Certain objects, such as buildings, require that a .dll file is also installed. If a .dll file is required the download will be a .zip file containing the .ztd file, .dll file and a .txt file. The .txt file will contain installation instructions, however in most cases the .ztd file should be saved as above and the .dll file should be saved in the following location.

C:\....\ZooTycoon\
